Heathers 30th!

Thirty, flirty and thriving! This was such a fun session! It was full of champagne, cake, and sparkle! Thirty is a great age! I’m honestly looking forward to thirty especially if I look as good as Heather! She is gorgeous and feeling amazing. Looking at these photos you wouldn’t even realize that she was fighting the wind. She makes it look easy and believe me when I say it wasn’t easy! Everyone should do a 30th birthday shoot! Such fun and a great time to remember!

 

Out first sceduled session got rained out so we had to reschedule. When we finally got to do this awesome session, Mother Nature decided to turn up the wind on us! We did a lot of tying things together and waiting inbetween wind intervals to get the best shot! We used our patience and it paid off.  We only had to redo the balloons two times because they kept coming out of the tree we tied them too! She looks like a pure natural though, simple, easy pesy 💁🏽‍♀️

 

We started off the session with Heather and her handsome boys. Most of the time kids are not as excited about the session as mom but in this situation the boys were very excited! They loved having their photo taken. They were doing different poses and even posing Heather! Showing me their “good” sides! Two future photographers (or models) right there! They also helped carry everything, unpack all the props and wanted to help set it all up. They were so helpful! She has two great kids, and you can tell how proud of them she is!

Heathers husband did a great job at making her feel great, reminding the kids “this is moms shoot!” A couple of times. He made sure the wind didn’t take all the extra props away and didn’t complain when we pulled him in for a couple of pictures! He’s great!

I loved the details of this shoot, her perfect little cake, the gorgeous flowers and of course the champagne! A little secret… the “champagne” was actually sparkleing white grape juice! The boys were happy about that because they got to help enjoy it! I loved the colors she used. They just so happen to be my favorite color! Light pink, everyday, all day!

It truly was a pleasure getting to meet Heather and her beautiful family! Even with the crazy wind, we had a great session! She just made adult birthday sessions became a big thing! It’s so great she is rewarding yourself with something fun and so memorable! You are well deserving! I hope your thirty’s are the best years yet!!!
