The Old Homestead Event Barn, Rushville IL

Kennedi and Jon’s wedding day at the old homestead event barn in Rushville Illinois was full of happiness and emotion! It is a day for the books! Kennedi’s smile was the first thing I seen when I entered the 220 in Beardstown. Her energy glowed with excitement. Her and Jon’s wedding day was a reflection of their peaceful, fun, and loving relationship!

It is easy to see that Jon & Kennedi were a match made for each other, whither you know them personally or not. The way they speak, play and look at each other is pure, magic. Just that, its magic! You can’t help but smile in amazement! I knew these two would have an awesome wedding just by their engagement session. They some how even outdid my expectations I had in my mind.

Kennedi and Jon wrote each other personal letters. After their first look they sat down next to the pond and read their letters to each other. It wasn’t planned but it was the perfect moment and they took full advantage of it! I believe wedding days should be filled with present moments and moments filled with feeling. That moment was everything, plus more!

The Smiley and Lindley family made the reception a blast! They spent the whole night dancing. Kennedi’s family even put on the cutest little skit that had everyone laughing! It was a nice surprise!

The Smiley wedding was one for the books! It gave me all the feels and I loved that! Capturing these memories was an honor. Thank you Kennedi and Jon for choosing me to document your love and all the amazingness on your wedding day! You two are amazing humans!
