Worth the wait

The first time I met Rachel was around two years ago. She had contacted me to do a pregnancy announcement, which I was so excited about! When Rachel told me her story of infertility and now being pregnant I was so excited for her and Adam! They had moved to Illinois just so they could get pregnant! So this was a huge deal! A couple weeks later I was extremely sad to hear that they had lost the baby….I couldn’t fathom the pain Rachel or Adam were enduring and my heart hurt for them. It was a sad time for many people in their life. Rachel and Adam knew that they were destine to be parents and pushed through the heart ache. They tried again…this time it worked, it worked really well actually because they were blessed with TWO babies!

Two beautiful boys who are absolutely perfect! They already have their own personality. Mr. Austin seems to be more onrey. He was the first one to break his water early, he is the one who likes to fight sleep a little more, and he definitely doesn’t like to wait for his bottle! He is already such a little leader with a mind of his own!

Evan on the other hand is more laid back. He waits for his bottle like no baby I have ever seen waits, honestly its amazing! Evan looks a little more like mommy (as of right now) and he has no problem sleeping all the time!

Rachel has such a bubbly personality. Talking to her just makes you smile because she just makes you happy! Those babies are so extremely blessed to have her as a mommy! The way she talks to them and holds them and looks at them is just amazing….she is not taking a day for granite that is for sure!

Adam is a little more quite. He is such a natural at being a daddy, seriously you would think he has had 5 other kids already, hes a pro! He makes you feel so comfortable and welcome in his home. He is such a great person!

Together Adam and Rachel make the BEST team for their twin boys. They are getting their feedings, sleep schedules, diaper changes all down to a pact! They are learning each babies needs and wants and never miss a chance to cuddle those sweet boys. They are so well deserving and I am so happy they have each other and Evan & Austin!

I can’t wait for many more shoots with these terrific people. I am so going to enjoy watching these two tiny’s grow into little guys and watching their personality’s change as they grow! How blessed am I?!?! Thank you Rachel and Adam for being such great friends and welcoming me into your home for this beautiful shoot!
