Cancun Mexico

Oh Cancun Mexico, you set high standards for my 29th year of life. I sit here trying to find words to describe this birthday trip and the word that keep coming to mind is, magical. The trip was pure magic. It was 4 days of fun, peace, of deep conversation, inner work, and powerful energy.

I am beyond grateful that my company on this trip was Nina. We had a hard time meeting up for lunch living 10 minutes away from each other. So we thought we would just plan to go out of country instead! Our energies are so similar…which can be a dangerous combination sometimes. Yet it is always fun!

We spent our time eating, looking for the 24/7 snack bar (which disappointed greatly once we found it), getting massages on the beach everyday, people watching on the beach, and putting crystals on our heads. You know, the normal weird shit.

We made friends with Victor and Martin, who worked at the resort and took care of us the whole time. I made friends with an older couple who probably think I am creep because I was taking pictures of them. They were being so cute on the beach together though, I couldn’t help it! We went snorkeling and it was amazing! Nina brought all the sea turtles & sting rays to us. I will leave how she did that to the imagination. That experience was unforgettable! Being 2 inches away from a sea turtle is magical! The crystal clear water is mind blowing!

This Cancun Mexico trip was life changing to me, in so many ways. It opened my mind and soul to many new realizations and I am so thankful. I hope I can channel that energy when I start to feel stressed or when life feels heavy. I highly recommend taking a trip with your best friend, doing weird shit, letting your soul be free, and just having fun!
