senior session at Panther Creek IL

I still can’t believe I just did the last of the Carlock kiddo’s senior session! I was in high school with both of her older brothers and had the pleasure to do her older sisters senior portraits and her other sisters wedding. Crazy to think Ferin is even old enough to be a senior! Her beauty starts from the inside and over flows to her physical beauty and it was so easy to hang out with her and her awesome Mama for a couple of hours at Panther creek outside of Chandlerville Il.

We went to Jakes point for her senior session. This spot is one of my favorite spots to meditate! The over look is such a gift to central Illinois. There is so much corn and flat fields in Illinois its nice to have a great view! Jakes point has so many creative places for photography. The gravel roads are perfect for a natural refactor. The trees let in perfect light and the over looks give a great view.

I found out shortly into the session that Ferin loves flowers. We played around with tiny white and yellow flowers and even found some purple. We even found the sweetest little queen Ann’s lace flower field just up the road. I’m a sucker for white flowers! We had fun using the blanket as a prop, even if Ferin probably thought I was crazy for suggesting it. She trusted me though, which I love! The chair was a perfect accent to the greenery around us and that mustard yellow adds the perfect pop to the images!

I loved talking with Ferin and learning about her future plans. She is such a bright women and will do amazing things! Ferin’s senior session was one for the books, just like her older sisters! Kris and Hugh have done a fabulous job raising bright, good-hearted individuals. I am excited to see where life takes Ferin or better yet where Ferin takes life!
