The Chisholm vow renewal

A last minute booking that I will forever be grateful for! My photographer friends Brett and Joanna had sent David and Deborah my way because they were unfortunately booked on this date. I had the date open and after face timing Deborah, David, and their 4 month old Caleb, I was excited to serve them! This was not only a celebration of 15 years of marriage, it was a celebration of their 6 children, their family and friends, and their growing faith. David and Deborah are walking testimonials. They shared their story of how God, prayer, friends & family, and a lot of work can create such a beautiful story! Their journey has been filled with many lessons, lessons that they share with others in hopes to help them know they aren’t alone and that this is only apart of the story, not the whole story! I have never felt more at peace or more loved by strangers in my life then in that moment. It was as if I knew everyone of these people! When I was headed out Deborah asked “whats your story?”… She didn’t ask “how are you”, “what do you do”, “where are you from”, she asked about everything in one question “what is your story?”. She was present and she truly cared about my story. I felt that, and I appreciated that. I learned so much in that moment and I will take that kindness with me. I know I was meant to be Deborah & Davids photographer that day, God called me there and I am so so thankful! It was the most beautiful day with the most amazing souls! Thank you Deborah and David for inviting me in on such a special day, for treating me so kindly and for being such lights in this world!
