Trey & Alex (Lincoln Memorial Garden)

“I don’t believe in soul mates, I believe we choose who to spend our life with.” That is what Trey said in his amazing vows to Alex and it has stuck with me. Gosh I think that is such a deep and perfect statement. I love the fact that Alex and Trey choose each other. They have such an understanding for each other and it shows. It shows with Treys patience and Alex’s kind words. It shows in the way they have fun with each other and are %100 themselves. It shows in the way they dance with each other and live life! Trey is a funny guy, his humor is a dry humor though, he’s a “serious funny” I guess you could say…which is very funny. Alex is fun, her since of adventure and her free spirited self lights up any room she walks in, even when she is quit and doesn’t know it! Something I heard Trey’s sister say as Trey and Alex where on the dance floor was “Man, they are so weird”. She didn’t mean it in a bad way! They are weird! The definition of weird is “something supernatural or uncanning”. Their personality’s together are just that! It’s awesome! When they were on the dance floor for their first (and second) dance, it was like it was only them two in the room! They shared so much joy and fun with each! I get to spend a little time with all my Brittany Couples but I was honored to spend extra time with Trey and Alex… Because Trey is also my cousin. The random dates to Xochimilco to talk about life and wedding stuff was always something I looked forward to and I’m sure we will still have them, even with all of our crazy schedules! To say this wedding was one of my favorites would be an understatement, I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this day. From getting to spend the morning with Alex and her awesome, down to earth friends, to using the photo booth 4 times later that night (that was so fun!)! I have loved watching both of you grow into a great team, who support each other in your individualities just as much as you support each other as a couple. I feel so happy to be able to be apart of both of your lives! I am excited to see what the future holds! Thank you both for trusting me with your very very amazing day!!! I love you guys so much!
