Sitting with the Kyle and Kellie at the consultation meeting I knew this wedding was going to be filled with love and laughter. I wasn’t wrong! These two are so cute together! I loved everything about there wedding and everything about their love! Kyle and Kellie were meant to be. Lucky Kyle…not only did he gain a drop dead gorgeous wife, he gained a very smart son. Kyle adores Rhy and Rhy looks up to Kyle so much. The bond between them is strong and amazing it just makes your heart happy! The three of them together are perfection. God knew what he was doing bringing them all together!
I heard that rain is a sign of good luck on your wedding day. I hope this is true because it rained A LOT! The clouds rolled in but it didn’t stop us! We found some shelter and got some great photos. My shoes were soaked and I had to wrap my camera in a plastic bag but it didn’t stop us! Kellie and Kyle don’t need the luck though. They have God who blesses them like crazy. Hearing their vows about made me cry! So sweet and genuine. Kyle even said he was happier this day than on the day the Cubs won the world series, so obviously A LOT!
I knew that the jokes and laughter would not be short of amazing at this wedding. It is the Campbell’s we are talking about….. the laughs didn’t fail, if it wasn’t Kyle cracking a joke it was one of his brothers! Both of their family’s welcomed us in and made us feel like we were apart of the crew! Kyle and Kellie’s family both just felt like one big family. They all got along and loved one another so well, it was so great! We really enjoyed being around them all and getting to know were these two wonderful people came from.
They had their beautiful day at Reichert’s Barn in Bluff Springs. It was perfect for their rustic, elegant wedding. They had the most amazing tasting cake and cupcakes from the wonderful Georgeann Logsdon. My personal favorite was the lemon raspberry. Justice’s favorite (he doesn’t even like cake) was the (I believe this was the name) pancake cupcakes! The location was beautiful, the barn was decorated perfectly with the right amount of flowers and details. There were real tree branches that reached the top of the barn and were covered in lights. It was magical.
The location, amazing cake, great company, and strong love beat out the stormy rain. It was a perfect day! I am so happy we were able to capture this big day for Kellie and Kyle. Two blessed people, who found each other (and Rhy) to live their lives together. They choose happiness every day and I personally love that! A huge congratulations again!!! It was truly perfect! I’m excited to see what the future holds!
