Aicha, The Birthday Princess.

Tatiana contacted me about setting up a birthday session for her friend, Aicha. I thought “how awesome!”. What a great gift, right?! So she booked and I sent Tatiana the style guide for her friend. We exchanged emails till the day of the session.  It wasn’t till the day of the shoot that I realized Aicha didn’t know about the session at all! It was a total birthday surprise! They met me at my studio and followed me to the location. Aicha still not having a clue what is going on. Tatiana, Aicha and 4 other beautiful friends stepped out of the car. I would have loved to know what was going through her head when she stepped out of the car, dressed like a million bucks, in the middle of no where….. I think her mind came to ease when she seen the camera and was explained everything! Aicha was in this beautiful, glamorous gown that made her radiate. I get the little kid giddy’s when clients trust me and go with the style guide helpful tidbits, because this dress pictured beautiful! It turned the focus onto Aichas beautiful face and made her shine!

Aicha was a natural…I didn’t have to tell her what to do, she just did it! Seriously a pro! She was so much fun to work with, she is so bubbly and sweet! You can see her personality shine through these photos. We were blessed with an over cast day, because the session was at 2pm! It was chilly, but not to to bad and Aicha handled it like it was nothing! We hit up my favorite spot “the desert” because I knew she would look like a dream there. Then we headed to some tall grass that looked amazing! The overcast made it look foggy in the background and we all know I love fog! They were up for anything, which I always love!

We were having so much fun, that when Tatiana asked if we could go to the levee and then do some photos downtown, I couldn’t say no. I’m so glad we did because they turned out amazing! But honestly we could have taken these pictures anywhere and Aicha would have had them looking amazing!

Such a great session, full of lots of surprises! I think its safe to say Aicha was a big fan of her birthday gift! She told me she loves doing this, and I could tell! She was so good at posing and just having fun with it! Her friends were even having a good ol’ time over on the side, having their own photo shoot! We may have had to dash out of the street a couple of times and people may have looked at us a little funny for take pictures in the road but it was well worth it!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday Aicha! I’m so blessed to have met you an your friends! Tatiana, Thank you for having me on this fun day!  You have some really great friends! I know I had so much fun helping celebrate with you guys! Keep being amazing, because you are really good at it!
